Michael and Samantha Kachmar purchased Middlebury Lock, LLC in 2018. Since that time, they have taken every opportunity to further their knowledge of the locksmithing trade and worked to ensure customer satisfaction is the outcome of every job.
A little bit about us…
Michael was raised in Addison County, left to earn a degree in Agricultural Mechanics and returned to work in a local John Deere Dealership for 22 years. Michael has a solid background in mechanics, diagnostics, and customer service. After 22 years in agricultural mechanics, he decided he was ready for another challenge! Michael has worked hard to come up to speed on the locksmithing industry and provides informed customer service and continues to broaden his knowledge and expertise in all things lock and security related.
Samantha was born in Vermont and raised in Addison County. In her 20’s Samantha worked in a variety of industries including customer service, domestic services and retail. For 10 years she was a stay at home mom and returned to school to further her education, receiving a degree in Human Services. For the past 15 years Samantha has worked in the nonprofit sector. This year Michael and Samantha made the decision that Samantha would leave Social Services to join him in the locksmith business.
Our goal is to work together in our family business providing you with a variety of products in store as well as knowledgeable service at your home or place of business. We install, repair, and maintain multiple types of lock mechanisms, including electronic locks. We can cut or copy keys, install door hardware and open up locks that have you stuck.
